Aug. 26

2:29 p.m.: In the course of investigating a case involving the fraudulent use of a credit/debit device. Evidence of bank fraud was discovered. US Bank was alerted and they advised they would handle the matter internally.

Aug. 31

8:06 p.m.: An office there was dispatched to do the 3000 block of Brandon Avenue for the report of a disturbance. No law violations were discovered to have occurred and a report was completed to document the incident.

Sep. 4

7:45 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of East Broadway Boulevard regarding a theft. They made contact with the reporting party and gathered information for a report. There are no suspects.

10:25 a.m.: A female subject came into the lobby of the police department to report a scam email she received in the 2100 block of South Engineer Avenue.

12:23 p.m.: Officers responded to the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a hit-and-run accident. Information was collected for a report. No suspects have been identified.

3:05 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of South Lamine Avenue in reference to a theft. A suspect was identified and charges have been submitted.

Sep. 1

9:00 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to 2400 South Washington Street in La Monte in reference to a window that had been shot with what is believed to be a BB gun. There are no suspects at this time.

Sep. 4

5:39 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched to Temp Stop, 4575 South Limit Ave. for a report of harassment. She said the male subject said vulgar things to her and left the area prior to the deputy’s arrival.

Sep. 4

1:35 p.m.: Kendra L. Maxwell, 35, of Warrensburg was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and no valid driver's license. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
