Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wasson, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Cynthia Neitzert and Joe Wasson were married on Aug. 28, 1984, at Bothwell Lodge in Sedalia by the Rev. Kent Brown.
Mr. Wasson is retired and Mrs. Wasson works at DaVita Renal Care in Lenexa, Kansas.
The couple has three children, Casey (Stephanie) Wasson, of Rocky Mount, Aric (Stephany) Wasson, of Warrensburg, and Ragean (Rick) Muessig, of Arnold; and six grandchildren.
