Edwards woman in serious condition after Highway 65 crash

Pamela K. Graham, 58, of Edwards suffered serious injuries at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Graham was driving a Buick Enclave and was turning from North US 65 to West Highway T she turned into the path of a 2023 International tow truck driven south by Michael E. Nichols, 43, of Lee's Summit.

Graham was not wearing a seat belt, and was life-flighted to University Medical Center in Columbia.

Clinton woman in serious condition after Henry County accident

Morgan K. Wade, 21, from Clinton suffered serious injuries at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wade was an occupant in a 2019 Hyundai Sonata driven by Samuel P. Coleman, 23, of Clinton. Coleman was southbound on SE 431, swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway and struck a fence.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts, Wade was transported by Golden Valley Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Warrensburg teen killed in Johnson County accident

Turner R. George, 18, of Warrensburg was killed, a 17-year-old male from Chilhowee suffered minor injury, Wiley M. Grand, 18, of Chilhowee suffered minor injury, and Timothy N. Toole, 19, of Centerview suffered minor injury at 8:54 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, George was driving a 2004 Dodge truck south on SW 271st and lost control when accelerating through a curve, left the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned and struck a fence.

George was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Noah Harness and was transported to the Johnson County Coroner's office. The other occupants refused treatment at the scene. The only person wearing a seat belt was the 17-year-old.

Kansas man hurt in Johnson County accident

Ray A. Yowell, 35, from Shawnee, Kansas suffered minor injuries at 11:24 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Yowell was driving a 2018 Ford Truck west on US 50 when he traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.

It is unknown if Yowell was wearing a seat belt, he was transported to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg by Johnson County ambulance District
