Arrests

Sept. 16

7:21 a.m.: James Thomas Myrick Jr, 48, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to Liberty park, 1500 West Third Street regarding a subject trespassing and causing a disturbance. Myrick was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with a charge of trespassing pending through the prosecutor.

Sept. 27

12:17 p.m.: Olivia Head, 29, of the 400 block of East 13th Street was arrested after officers responded to East Broadway Boulevard and South Engineer Avenue regarding a motor vehicle accident. Head had a suspected suspended driving status in Missouri and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released for driving while suspended.

2:13 p.m.: Ashley Marie Milano, 35, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of West Broadway Boulevard for an individual trespassing on business property. Milano was charged with first-degree trespass and concealing a prohibited item in a jail facility.

6:31 p.m.: Shelby A. Smith, 20, of the 1100 block of South Carr Avenue was arrested after an officer responded to the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. The complainant reported the suspect stole $44.83 worth of merchandise from the business. Smith was released on scene with the municipal summons for stealing.

10:54 p.m.: Francisco Martinez Moreno, 29, of the 600 block of North Stewart Avenue was arrested after officers responded for a report of domestic disturbance. Moreno was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of third-degree domestic assault.

Sept. 29

10:45 a.m.: John William Johnson, 52, of the 1800 block of South Kentucky Avenue was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a male subject stealing items. Johnson was also the suspect in a theft at the same location the previous evening.

7:43 p.m.: Jose Raul Gonzalez, 25, of the 1800 block of East Fifth Street was arrested after a vehicle stop for a missing headlight and front bumper. Gonzalez had a revoked driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.

8:40 p.m.: James D. Kohrs, 44, was arrested after officers responded to Harrison Avenue and Magnolia Street for the report of an assault. The victim had minor injuries and was able to name the suspect. Kohrs was located and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of first-degree harassment and third-degree assault.

Sept. 27

3:32 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East 14th Street for a verbal disturbance. They gathered information from all parties involved and a report was completed.

4:20 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a theft report. They spoke with the business owner and submitted a report.

5:45 p.m.: A report for a stolen wallet was taken over the phone. The victim reported having that wallet with contents stolen while at a business in the 800 block of South Limit Avenue. One of the victim’s debit cards was fraudulently used at a business in the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue.

8:06 p.m.: Officers responded to Vermont Park for an unresponsive male lying on the ground that was involved in a disturbance. An investigation was conducted and no victim could be identified.

9:19 p.m.: Clarissa Ann Trevino, 20, of the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue was arrested after a vehicle stop in the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue. Trevino was issued a citation for driving while suspended and released on scene.

Sept. 28

10:31 a.m.: Schasse Flora Jirjis, 39, of the 2300 block of West Broadway Boulevard was arrested after officers responded to Walmart, 3201 West Broadway Blvd, in reference to shoplifting in progress. Asset Protection had detained the subject who was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with formal charges of stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:13 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the police department regarding found property. Property located in the area of Third Street and South Engineer Avenue was placed into safekeeping.

4:39 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a traffic accident. They located one of the vehicles and a report was submitted.

4:51 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the police department lobby for a subject wanting to report an assault that occurred earlier in the day in the 3900 block of West Ninth Street. They gathered information for a report.

6:55 p.m.: Morgan E. Harms, 20, of the 900 block of West 10th Street was arrested after an officer responded to Walmart for a report of trespassing. The complainant reported a known subject was trespassing at the business and had stolen several items. Harms was located in the 900 block of West 10th Street and taken into custody. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of first-degree burglary and stealing.

Sept. 29

11:25 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1600 block of Liberty Park Boulevard in reference to a theft. A bicycle was stolen from a residence and has not been located at this time. A report was completed.

Sept. 29

2:27 a.m.: Travis Lawson, was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop near West 15th Street and South Grand Avenue on a white Toyota. They noticed Lawson and occupant Jessica Salmon switch seats. Lawson had a suspended driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

3:00 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of South Ingram Avenue for the report of a subject trespassing.

Sept. 29

10:39 a.m.: Laura L. Keene, 39, of Blue Springs was arrested in Saline County for a misdemeanor Saline County warrant, a misdemeanor Henry County warrant, no valid drivers license and displaying the plates of another vehicle. She was transported to the Saline County Jail.
