Arrests

Sept. 20

7:35 a.m.: Richard Blaine Waters, 63, of the 1700 block of East Fourth Street was arrested after officers were dispatched to Break Time, 808 East Broadway Blvd, in reference to a theft. The manager on duty showed officers a video of an older male concealing a beef jerky in his coat before paying for another beef jerky. Waters was later identified and issued a city summons for shoplifting.

Sept. 24

5:59 p.m.: Barry Carle Rivera, 26, of the 1600 block of East Fifth Street was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop at the main gate of the Missouri State Fairground on a vehicle going 48 and 35 mph zone. Rivera had a suspended license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Sept. 26

4:50 p.m.: Alec Edward Smith, 36, of Warsaw was arrested after a call came in from Walmart, 3201 West Broadway Blvd, regarding a shoplifter they had in the asset protection office. Smith was released on scene with a city summons for shoplifting.

10:41 p.m.: Uzziah Darnell Lanigan, 34, of the 1900 block of West 10th Street was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the area of West 10th Street and South State Fair Boulevard to assist with a traffic stop. A vehicle had been stopped for an equipment violation and the order of burnt marijuana was traveling down the roadway. It was determined Lanigan was intoxicated and he was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of driving while intoxicated - drug.

Sept. 30

10:29 p.m.: Hannah Sue Perry, 24, of the 3400 block of South Washington Avenue was arrested after a vehicle stopped near the Saline Street and Veteran Memorial Drive intersection. The driver was found to have no valid license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Sept. 27

2:10 p.m.: An employee with Central Bank came to the lobby of the police department to report a fraud that occurred in the 3000 block of West Broadway Blvd.

Sept. 30

8:37 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the police department in reference to a burglary that occurred in the 3200 block of West 10th street. A report was generated.

8:53 a.m.: Officers took a missing person's report in the police department from the 1400 block of West Third Street. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

1:46 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a reported theft. were generated in reference to the thefts.
