Three transported after Henry County rollover

Cassandra G. Sutton, 32, of Clinton, and James R. Sanders, 64, of Windsor, suffered serious injuries and Thomas R. Ward, 61, of Windsor, suffered moderate injuries at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, June 22 in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ward was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe south on Highway Y when he lost control and traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle overturned and Ward was ejected.

No one was wearing a seat belt. Sutton was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton and then by air ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Ward was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg and Sanders was transported by air ambulance to Research Medical Center.

Kingsville woman hurt in Johnson County accident

Teresa M. Friese, 69, of Kingsville, suffered minor injuries at 10:11 a.m. Friday, June 21 in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wasan Z. Rashood, 52, of Kansas City, was driving a southbound 2015 Toyota Corolla on Route W and turning right onto U.S. Highway 50 when she lost control, causing her vehicle to strike the triangular curbing and a highway sign. A northbound 2015 F150 driven by Friese struck the passenger side of the vehicle as it crossed the roadway.

Both parties were wearing seat belts. Friese was transported by private vehicle to St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs.

Warrensburg motorcyclist in serious condition after crash

Mark A. Baty, 60, of Warrensburg, suffered serious injuries at 1:50 p.m. Friday, June 21 in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Baty was driving a 2008 Harley-Davidson south near the 1700 block of 641st Road when he traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned and Baty was ejected.

He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Two transported after Johnson County mishap

Lewis F. Barrack, 66, of Bates City, suffered serious injuries and John R. Buckner, 76, of Independence, suffered minor injuries at 9:38 p.m. Sunday, June 23 in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Barrack was driving a 2016 Lincoln MKZ north on Route 13 when he experienced a vehicle defect and struck the curb. The vehicle then traveled off the roadway and down an embankment.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts. Barrack was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg and Buckner was transported by private vehicle to WMMC.

Fenton woman hurt in Morgan County crash

Jacinda R. Busiek, 49, of Fenton, suffered minor injuries at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 21 in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Michael J. McKenzie was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox west on Brendel Boulevard, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Neither McKenzie nor his occupant, Busiek, was wearing a seat belt. Busiek was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-MO Ambulance District.

Two hurt in Morgan County crash

Bonnie J. Evans, 77, and Victor W. Evans, 78, both of Cole Camp, suffered minor injuries at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, June 22 in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nelson S. Weaver, 49, of Versailles, was driving a northbound 2004 Chevrolet Silverado on Route D. He attempted to pass a 2015 Ford F150 driven by Victor Evans, who began making a left turn and was struck by the Silverado.

No one was wearing a seat belt. The Evanses were transported to Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City by Mid-MO Ambulance District.
