California motorcyclist killed in Moniteau County accident

John J. Lucas, 41, of California, was killed at 6:35 a.m. Saturday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lucas was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson Road Glide South on state Route 5 south of Richard Boulevard when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

He was pronounced dead by Coroner Marty Ramsdell. He was not wearing a helmet.

Cole Camp motorcyclist in serious condition after hitting a deer

John P. Leach, 41, of Cole Camp, sustained serious injuries at 9:05 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Leach was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle north on Old Balltown Avenue when he struck a deer.

He was not wearing a helmet and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight.

Warrensburg woman in serious condition after crash

Patricia A. Richey, 69, of Warrensburg, sustained serious injuries and Cody M. Williams, 29, of Knob Noster, sustained minor injuries at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Richie was driving a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 south on state Route 13 when he failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Williams, who struck the Chevy in the side, sending it off the roadway to overturn.

Williams was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee’s Summit. Richie was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Warsaw woman hurt in Benton County accident

Amanda M. Cooper, 41, of Warsaw, sustained minor injuries at 7:10 p.m. Thursday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cooper was driving a 2015 Infiniti east on Duran Creek Road when she traveled off the roadway, struck a fence and overturned.

Cooper was wearing a seat belt and was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Clinton woman injured in Henry County accident

Julie A. Frazier, 64, of Clinton, sustained moderate injuries at 7:20 p.m. Friday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Fraser was driving a 2017 Porsche west on state Route C when she failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the roadway, striking a sign, a tree, and a ditch.

Frazier was arrested for driving while intoxicated and no driver's license. She was released for medical treatment.

Frazier was wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center.

Creighton man in serious condition after Henry crash

Christopher M. Hon, 29, of Creighton, sustained serious injuries at 2 a.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hon was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado north on Route K when he traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and a fence and overturned.

Hon was arrested for felony tampering, drug intoxication, and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by St. Clair County Ambulance District.

Three hurt in Morgan County crash

Cheryl A. Hinrichs, 41, of Stover, Randall L. McFe, 65, of Lee's Summit, and Margaret A. Green, 25, of Lee’s Summit, all sustained minor injuries at 12:27 p.m. June 3 in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hinrichs was driving a 2020 Ford Ecosport east on state Route 135 at Ivy Bend Road when she turned into the path of a 2016 Mazda CX-5 driven south by McFe.

Hinrichs was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Green was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital. McFe was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital as well.
