Mr. and Mrs. David Murray will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday with their immediate family at the home of John and Lori Moore.
Vickie Parker and David Murray were married June 15, 1965, at the home of Lloyd and Bonnie Parker in La Monte.
Mr. Murray worked for Web and Sons Supermarkets in Sedalia. He began working at Bing’s grocery store starting as a stocker in 1966 and for Price Chopper and Food 4 Less. He retired as a butcher after more than 44 years.
Mrs. Murray worked a variety of jobs including Town and Country Shoe Factory and managing video and convenience stores. She also made handmade crafts, basket and quilts.
The couple has two children, Lori (John) Moore and David (Terri) Murray, both of Sedalia; and four grandchildren.
