Arrests

June 20

3: 54 a.m.: Joseph Elmer Fore, 41, of Sedalia, was arrested at Fifth Street and Thompson Avenue after police received a report of trespassing. Fore was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

June 21

12:31 a.m.: Mitsuyo Ito, 33, of Warrensburg, was arrested after officers responded to the 400 block of North Prospect Avenue in reference to a theft. The complainant said a woman known to him stole his dog. Officers were able to make contact with the woman and the dog was returned to the owner. The woman was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked for stealing an animal.

Incidents

June 20

12:24 p.m.: Officers take a report of forgery in the SPD lobby. A victim in the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard said without his permission, someone changed the banking information for his paycheck direct deposit.

June 21

12:30 a.m.: Officers responded to a business in the 3300 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a subject attempting to get into a vehicle. The subject had fled before officers arrived and a search of the area did not locate them. Nothing was found stolen or damaged during the incident.
