Harold A. Williams, 74, of Hughesville suffered minor injuries at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 17-year-old male from Marshall was driving a 2015 Ford Fusion west on State Route D when he attempted to overtake a 2011 Polaris Ranger driven by Williams.
The Ford then struck the Polaris causing it to lose control.
Williams was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
