Two from Stover hurt in Benton County crash

Shane M. Thompson, 23, of Stover, suffered minor injuries and Richard L. Koehen, 38, also of Stover, suffered minor injuries at 7:30 a.m. Monday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as Koehen fell asleep driving a 2012 Volkswagen Golf east on Missouri Highway 52, and crossed the centerline of the road and struck a 2015 Dodge Ram driven west by Thompson.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Koehen refused treatment and Thompson was transported by Cole Camp Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Warsaw driver injured in Johnson county sideswipe

Robert G. Jones, 44, of Warsaw, suffered moderate injuries at 9:45 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jones was driving a 2009 Ford Fusion east on U.S. Highway 50 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and sideswiped a stationary 2004 Toyota Camry. His vehicle then impacted the ditch and overturned.

Jones was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Four car accident in Morgan County sends three to hospital

Austin J. Campbell, 23, of Linn Creek, suffered minor injuries, Timothy W Campbell, 56, also of Linn Creek, suffered minor injuries and Orbee L. Wallace, 88, of Climax Springs, suffered moderate injuries at 9:04 a.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford F150 driven by Wallace north on Missouri Highway 5 crossed the center of the road and struck a 2023 Nissan Rogue driven by Jesse D. Sims, 41, of St Louis. The Nissan continued to travel off the left side of the road. The Ford F-150 then struck a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Austin Campbell which traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. The Ford traveled off the left side of the road striking a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Timothy Campbell south.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, Austin and Timothy Campbell were transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Wallace was transported by Mercy Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
