La Monte woman hurt in Pettis County accident

Becky M. Duncan, 48, of La Monte suffered minor injuries at 7:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Duncan was driving a 2017 Jeep Renegade east on Griessen Road at Heard Avenue when she traveled off the roadway and impacted a ditch.

Duncan was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by private conveyance to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Clinton driver killed in Henry County accident

Michael F. Smith, 39, of Clinton was killed at 11:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Smith was driving a 2008 Ford Taurus north on Hwy 13 when he ran off the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned and hit a utility pole.

He was pronounced dead by Henry County coroner Dane Sisk and transported to Bradley Hadley Funeral Home in Clinton. It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.

Lincoln teen seriously injured in Benton County accident

Kaleb P. Mundy, 19, of Lincoln suffered serious injuries at 2:22 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mundy was an occupant in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Kyle D. Eckhoff, 19, of Lincoln south on Moellman Avenue. The vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned.

Mundy was not wearing a seat belt, and was flown by MU 3 to University Hospital in Columbia.

Clinton teen injured in Henry County accident

Jordan M. Naylor, 19, of Clinton suffered moderate injuries at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report in 2013 Nissan Jeep driven by Naylor east on Missouri Route 7 overtook a 2000 Jeep, also driven east, by Dane S. Vankirk, 44, of Springfield and struck the rear of his vehicle. Naylor then ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Golden Valley ambulance District to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton.

Clinton man hurt in Henry County accident

William C. Ballard, 54, of Clinton suffered minor injuries at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ballard was an occupant in a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Glenda J. Ballard, 54, of Columbia driven west on Missouri Route 7. Caleb E. Stanford was driving a 2022 Ford Escape west behind Mallard and failed to slow when she attempted to make a right turn into a private drive and he hit her.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, William Ballard was transported by Golden Valley ambulance District to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton.

Rocky Mount driver injured in Morgan County accident

Paul E. Hill, 42, of Rocky Mount suffered moderate injuries at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, in Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hill was driving a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country north on Route W when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guard rail and overturned.

He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Sedalia driver seriously injured in Johnson County accident

Ryan J. Buckley, 45, of Sedalia suffered serious injuries at 7:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Buckley was driving a 2002 Suzuki Aerio south on Missouri Route 13 at State Route E when he failed to yield to a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Amber D. Demoret, 45, of Warrensburg who was proceeding north and struck the side of his vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Buckley was transported to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence by Johnson County Ambulance District.
