Warsaw woman seriously injured in Benton County accident

Prudence A. Wilbanks, 54, of Warsaw sustained serious injuries, and Misty L. Cassady, 38, of Warsaw sustained minor injuries at 1:40 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cassady was driving a 2004 Dodge Caravan east on Braden Road when she ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts, Cassady refused treatment on scene and Wilbanks was transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.

Whiteman driver hurt in Johnson County accident

Aiden L. Ellege, 20, of Whiteman Air Force Base suffered minor injuries at 2:23 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ellege was driving a 2006 Toyota Camry north on MO 23 when he intentionally swerved off the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn. He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County ambulance District to Missouri Western Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Laurie tractor driver injured in Morgan County accident

Rodney D. Frey, 70, of Laurie suffered moderate injuries at 5:55 p.m. Thursday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Frey was driving a 2019 New Holland Workmaster 65 tractor north on Buck Creek Road when he traveled off the left side of the road and struck a building.

It is unknown if Frey was wearing a seat belt, he was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Two from Knob Noster transported after Pettis County accident

Sandra S. Grandestaff, 82, of Knob Noster suffered minor injuries, and Charles W. Grandestaff, 86, of Knob Noster suffered moderate injuries at 2:18 p.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report, Charles Grandestaff was driving a 2009 Toyota Tacoma east on U.S. Highway 50 near Davies Road, in the right-hand lane when he was struck by a 2001 Dodge Dakota driven east by Thomas J. Miller, 21, of Houstonia.

Everyone was wearing a seatbelt, the injured were transported by Pettis County ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Two injured in Pettis County car versus tractor accident

Phillip M. Staus, 36, of Sedalia suffered moderate injuries, and William A. Anderson, 59, of Clinton suffered moderate injuries at 4:47 p.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, status was driving a 2009 John Deere tractor south on US 65 near Mather Road when he was overtaken by Anderson driving a 2013 F150 and was struck.

It is unknown if Staus was wearing a seat belt, he was transported by private conveyance to Bothwell Regional Medical Center. Anderson was wearing a seat belt and was transported by a Pettis County ambulance District to Bothwell.
