Iowa man heard in Benton County accident

Daryl L. Kluender, 81, of Iowa suffered minor injuries at 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kluender was driving a 2006 Buick Lucerne north on US 65 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock bluff and came to rest in a ditch.

Kluender was not wearing a seat belt, he was transported by Warsaw Lincoln EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Warrensburg man hurt in Henry County accident

Matthew A. Danner, 24, of Warrensburg suffered minor injuries at 10 to 13:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Danner was driving a 2009 Hyundai Accent north on Hwy 13 and swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway, struck an embankment and came to rest in the ditch.

Danner was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by EMS.

Warrensburg woman injured in Johnson County rollover

Kelly R. Smith, 44, of Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Smith was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo east on US 50 when she ran off the roadway and overturned.

Smith was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg.

Three hurt one, seriously in Johnson County ATV accident

Hannah Byers, 34, of Lee's Summit sustained minor injuries, Veronica Waller, 37, of Holden sustained minor injuries, and Benjamin Holcomb, 36, of Lee's Summit sustained serious injuries at 5:53 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Holcomb was driving a 2023 Polaris RZR 1000 west on Southwest 700 Road when he hit a bump in a field, lost control and overturned. Holcomb was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. The two occupants were restrained and were treated on scene and released.

Eldon motorcyclist seriously injured in Moniteau county accident

Alexander M. Lusher, 20, of Eldon was seriously injured at 2:42 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in a Moniteau county accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lusher was driving a 2015 BMW s1000r south on MO 87 when he crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck an oncoming 2018 Subaru Outback driven by Gloria M. Moody, 72, of California and was ejected.

Lusher was wearing a helmet and was transported by mu Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia.

Two from Versailles hurt in Morgan County accident

Russell H. Gibson, 61, of Versailles suffered minor injuries and Connie S. Kauffman, 65, of Versailles suffered minor injuries at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19,  in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 1984 dune buggy driven by Gibson east on Kelsey Road failed to yield to a southbound 2013 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Leanna M. Leinbach, 42, of Versailles who was driving south on Hopewell Road.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, the injured were transported by ambulance to Capital Regional hospital in Jefferson City.

Grain Valley woman hurt in Saline County accident

Yvonne N. Dillon, 38, of Grain Valley suffered minor injuries at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Jeep Laredo driven by Dillon west on the ramp to MO 127 struck the rear of a 2015 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Marsha A. Tyler, 59, of Sweet Springs.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Dillon was transported by Concordia EMS to Western Missouri Medical center in Warrensburg.
