Oct. 14

8:12 p.m.: Cecilia S. Young, 4363, of the 1800 block of West 11th Street was arrested after an officer responded to a noise complaint. The caller stated they had called several times about their neighbors barking dogs with no resolution. Contact was made with the dog owner and a citation was issued.

Oct. 16

7:40 p.m.: Alvarez Rubio Luis, 27, of Warsaw was arrested after a traffic stop at the Missouri State Fairgrounds gate for going 43 in a 35 mph zone with a defective headlight. Officers transported Lewis to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, exceeding the speed limit and headlights out.

Oct. 18

7:31 a.m.: Salvador Merced Rodriguez, 35, of the 1000 block of South Osage Avenue was arrested after officers were waved down by two subjects in a vehicle at the intersection of Clinton Road and 24th Street. They identified the driver and placed him under arrest for driving without a valid license. The suspect was transported to the Sedalia Police Department fingerprinted and released with a municipal summons.

11:38 a.m.: Christina Marie Shumaker, 35, of the 300 block of North Grand Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop near Broadway Boulevard and South Carr Avenue on a vehicle failing to display registration. The driver was transported to the police department, fingerprinted and released with charges of operating without a license, failure to register a vehicle and no proof of insurance.

3:14 p.m.: Amanda Nicole Hubbard, 46, of the 600 block of East 10th Street was arrested after a traffic stop near Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Road on a vehicle identified to have a suspended driver. Hubbard was transported to the police department, fingerprinted and released with charges of driving without a license and no proof of insurance.

9:49 p.m.: Ricky Burdette Longie II, 49, of the 400 block of Grand Avenue was arrested after an officer responded to the 2000 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a domestic disturbance. The subject was found to have assaulted the other subject and was arrested. Longie had injured himself prior to law enforcement arrival and was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center to be treated then the Pettis County Jail, booked and held for 24 hours pending charges of third-degree domestic assault.

Oct. 19

12:11 a.m.: Michael A. Yac Rosales, 25, of the 700 block of East 13th Street was arrested after a traffic stop near Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue. Rosales had a suspended driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

12:58 a.m.: Kenneth Cottrolla Kendrick, 51, of Springfield Was arrested after an officer was dispatched to assist with an individual found passed out in the McDonald's drive-thru. It was determined the driver was intoxicated and he was transported to the Sedalia Police Department then the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of DWI - prior offender.

8:51 p.m.: Gregorio Marcos Gonzalez, 34, of the 900 Block of South Prospect Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop near the intersection of West Second Street and South Grand Avenue. Gonzales had no valid license and was cited and released with a summons.

9:12 p.m.: Monica Lee Fox, 46, of the 400 block of West 21st Street was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of East 11th Street in reference to an intoxicated driver. Fox got her car stuck, fled on foot and was located near East 13th Street South New York Avenue. She was intoxicated and was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, issued a uniform traffic ticket for DWI and released to a sober driver.

10:40 p.m.: Cora Belt, 42, of the 3000 block of Brooking Park Avenue was arrested after a vehicle stop for not displaying a front registration plate. The driver had a suspended driving status and was transported to the Sedalia Police Department pending a charge of driving while suspended.

Oct. 20

3:08 a.m.: Tristan Matthew Uree Smith, 24, of the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court was arrested after officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Smith was the primary aggressor and was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault.

1:44 p.m.: Sierra Baker, 25, of Otterville was arrested after a vehicle stop for not displaying a front registration plate near East Broadway Boulevard and South New York Avenue. Baker was intoxicated and was transported to the Sedalia Police Department where she was issued a uniform traffic ticket for DWI.

8:42 p.m.: Cody Douglas Hanning, 31, of the 300 block of East Second Street was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the 700 block of East Fifth Street in reference to the violation of an ex parte order. Hanning was located, arrested and charged with violation of an ex parte.

11:17 p.m.: Carlos E. Sedillo, 21, of the 600 block of West Second Street was arrested after a traffic stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South Mitchell Road. Cedillo had no driver's license and was arrested and released on scene with a summons.

Incidents

Oct. 15

5:14 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Albert Lee Avenue in reference to a disturbance. The reporting party stated the patient assaulted her and chased her down with a knife. When the officer arrived the suspect had the same knife and was actively cutting her own throat. When ordered to do so, the suspect dropped the knife and was taken into custody and transported to Bothwell for assessment. Charges are being requested for second-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Oct. 16

3:55 p.m.: A man came into the lobby of the police department to report he had money stolen from him.

Oct. 19

2:42 a.m.: An officer responded to the 700 block of East Fifth Street for a report of the violation of an order of protection. The suspect was identified but not located. Charges have been submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor.

9:42 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of South Mitchell Road for a reported burglary. A report was generated.

9:54 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Third Street in reference to a civil dispute. They gathered enough information for a report.

Oct. 20

10:15 a.m.: An officer responded to the 1500 block of Brianna Boulevard in reference to a burglary not in progress. The caller stated the commercial building was broken into, cash was missing and property damage done. There is no suspect information.

11:29 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 16th Street and Sneed Avenue for a reported hit-and-run collision. A report was generated.

2:06 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Sedalia Police Department for a reported theft that occurred in the 1500 block of West Main Street. A report was generated.

6:53 p.m.: Officers took a report of fraud in the Sedalia Police Department lobby and a report was completed.

Arrests

Oct. 15

10:00 a.m.: Connor Embry was arrested after deputies observed a black car driving south on Clinton Road and near Erika Avenue at 62 mph in a 35 mph zone. They conducted a traffic stop and the intoxicated driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail, and booked and released pending a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Oct. 19

6:50 p.m.: Denty Alexander was arrested after a deputy observed a vehicle speeding at 86 mph in a 65 mph zone at US 50 and Carroll Road. Alexander had a revoked driving status and was intoxicated with three children in the vehicle. He was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail for DWI, person less than 17 in the vehicle, and driving while revoked.

Oct. 19

2:36 a.m.: Samuel Bartlett was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop at the Casey's at 16th and Grand Avenue on a vehicle displaying the plates of another and several other traffic offenses. The passenger exited the vehicle and walked away after being given lawful orders to stop. The driver provided a fake name and was later arrested with an active warrant as well as felony driving while suspended and identity theft. The passenger Shawn Bartlett was transported to the Pettis County Jail place on a 24-hour hold pending charges.

Oct. 20

3:24 a.m: Olven Reyes Espinoza was arrested after a Pettis County deputy stopped a vehicle for traveling 100 mph in a 65 on US 50 at Hwy. T. Espinoza was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.

Incidents

Oct. 14

6:59 p.m.: Joel Caylor was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the Four Seasons Living Center, 2800 Highway TT, for the report of a physical disturbance taking place. They were advised four subjects in total were involved in the disturbance which led to a staff member getting assaulted. After interviewing witnesses and the victim, Cayor was charged with third-degree assault.

Oct. 18

8:11 a.m.: Monica D. Abbott, 60, of Concordia was arrested in Pettis County for felony driving with no valid license. She was processed and released.

Oct. 19

1:26 a.m.: Melissa A. McClellan, 36, of Independence was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.

6:58 p.m.: Jeffrey H. Hughes, 44, of Smithton was arrested in Pettis County for felony driving while intoxicated - persistent offender. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.

8:41 p.m.: Kitten C. Stewart, 55, of Stockton was arrested in Benton County for driving while intoxicated, and failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a crash. She was released on scene.
