Warsaw driver injured in Benton County accident

Donald W. Street, 78, of Warsaw, suffered moderate injuries at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Joshua S. Briden, 43, of Deepwater, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet 1500 south on Route 83 and attempted to turn left onto Route MM. He turned into the path of a northbound 2019 Chevrolet Sonic driven by Street and struck his towed unit.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Street was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.

Clinton woman hurt in hit-and-run accident

Brittany N. Mothersbaugh, 28, of Clinton, suffered minor injuries at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mothersbaugh was driving a 2015 Chrysler 200 west on Route 7 at Route PP and had slowed for traffic when she was rear-ended by a gold Ford pickup truck that left the scene.

Mothersbaugh was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Kansas trucker seriously injured in US 50 accident

Gregory A.A. Myers, 36, of Lenexa, Kansas, suffered serious injuries at 7:55 a.m. Thursday, June 13 in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Myers was driving a 2008 Kenworth east on U.S. Highway 50 at Route 58 when the front passenger tire blew out. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a concrete-lined ditch.

Myers was wearing a seat belt and was taken by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
