William A. Bishop, 84, of Tunas, was killed at 9:25 p.m. Monday, June 3 in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cesar Espinoza, 49, of El Paso, Texas, was driving a 2023 Freightliner when he stopped at Route CC and Highway 65. He failed to yield and began to make a left turn when Bishop, who was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram south, struck the vehicle.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Bishop was pronounced dead by Benton County Maj. Dean Noll.
