Zachary E. Simmons, 21, of Stover, suffered moderate injuries at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Simmons was driving a 2001 Yamaha R1 motorcycle west on Route 135 and attempted to turn east onto Route 52. Simmons failed to yield to a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Clark C. Bower, 60, of Stover, and hit his towed unit.
Both drivers were wearing safety equipment. Simmons was transported by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia.
