Bruce D. Lawson, 46, of Stover, sustained serious injuries at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lawson was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 north on Deer Creek Drive when he lost consciousness. A passenger took over control of the vehicle, which traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a garden shed.
Lawson was wearing a seat belt and was transported by University Air Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
