Boonville woman injured in Saline crash

A Boonville woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Katherine M. Andrews, 37, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox west on I-70 at the 85-mile marker when she traveled off the road. She overcorrected, traveling back across the roadway and her vehicle overturned.

Andrews, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Saline County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.

The MSHP was assisted by the Saline County Sheriff’s Department.

Stover woman hurt in Pettis County accident

A Stover woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Shelly A. Nelson, 58, was driving a 2012 Kia Sportage south on U.S. Highway 65, just south of Westmoreland Road, when she struck a deer.

Nelson sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
