Arrests

July 6

12:21 a.m.: Robert Leroy Little, 67, of the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to West 16th Street and South Vermont Avenue to assist with a traffic stop. Little was intoxicated and was transported to the Sedalia Police Department then the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with the charge of DWI - drugs - persistent offender.

Incidents

July 8

10:40 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to Dollar Tree, 3107 W. Broadway Blvd, regarding a harassment incident. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

7:19 p.m.: Officers took a report over the phone in reference to the violation of an order of protection. They tried to make contact with the subject unsuccessfully. State charges are being submitted.

7:27 p.m.: Officers responded to the Bothwell Regional Health Center emergency room, 601 E. 14th St., regarding an animal bite report. They gathered information and a report was generated.

8:37 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the Sedalia Police Department regarding a stolen vehicle. The owner of the vehicle, who was out of state, called to report her vehicle stolen. It had been previously recovered and towed by Don's Towing. A request for charge of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle was submitted to the prosecutor.

Arrests

July 8

7:47 p.m.: Sheila L. Pickett, 57, of Warsaw, and Benton W. Pickett, 49, of Sedalia, were arrested in Pettis County. Sheila Pickett for felony possession of a controlled substance and Benton Pickett for failure to register as a sex offender. They were released.
