Arrests

July 9

7:26 p.m.: Joshua Wayne Dickson, 26, of the 4200 block of South Kentucky Avenue, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to a disturbance. The caller said the suspect had damaged her vehicle and assaulted her. Dickson was transported to the Pettis County Jail and was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of fourth degree domestic assault and second degree property damage.

10:50 p.m.: Sergei S. Gladush Jr, 45, was arrested after officers responded to the 1600 block of East Seventh Street in reference to an intoxicated subject. Gladush was passed out in a front yard and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold.

10:59 p.m.: Pedro Marcos, 25, of the 900 block of North Prospect Avenue ,was arrested after a vehicle stop for operating with the revoked status on South Moniteau Avenue near West Broadway Boulevard. Marcos was transported to the Pettis County Jail. A request for a charge of driving while suspended has been submitted to the prosecutor.

July 10

12:03 a.m.: Jesus Javier Jayala-Onate, 29, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested after a traffic stop for vehicle with no registration. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released pending a State charge of driving while suspended.

12:04 a.m.: Jessica Renee Jones, 35, of the 500 block of Fifth Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop for expired temporary plates near West 16th Street and South Prospect Avenue. The driver had a revoked license and was released from the scene with a citation as there was a licensed driver in the vehicle.

Incidents

July 8

9:22 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a report of found property. The caller who worked for hospital security said a nurse found a bottle of blue pills in the ER. The pills were collected as found property.

11:09 a.m.: An officer made contact with a female subject regarding a fraud that occurred in the 1000 block of Winchester Drive. The suspect was identified and charges were submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor.

5:04 p.m.: Officers dispatched to the police department Lobby for a reported violation of an ex parte order of protection. State charges were submitted on the suspect.

July 9

9:10 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a theft report in the 600 block of South Barrett Avenue. The victim said his mini bike was stolen overnight.

10:10 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to National TV Rental, 1400 S. Limit Ave., for a report of theft of rental property. They gathered pertinent information from the complainant and a report was completed.

10:31 a.m.: On July 7, loose cargo on a trailer owned by the City of Sedalia was struck with debris causing minor damage.

1:43 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 4300 block of South Limit Avenue for an assault report. The victim said while she was pulled over due to vehicle issues, a blue Chevy sedan drove past her and shot her with small gel beads.

6:32 p.m.: An officer responded to a burglary no longer in progress in the 1900 block of South Harrison Avenue. It was found the residence had been burglarized and damaged. Items were stolen but no suspect was located.

10:28 p.m.: An officer took a report of theft that occurred at Walmart, 3201 W. Broadway Blvd. The victim said someone cashed their lottery ticket and while they were speaking to an employee stole approximately $200 from them in the process.
