Arrests

July 10

8:51 p.m.: Linda Fern Allred, 33, of Pilot Grove, was arrested after a vehicle stop for failing to maintain a lane on East Broadway Boulevard at South Garfield Avenue. She was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail on a State charge of DWI - drugs.

July 11

8:43 a.m.: Dwight Albert Trester II, was arrested after police responded to O'Reilly's, 2414 W. Broadway Blvd. for a suspicious person. Trester was asked to leave the building and refused repeatedly. Management wanted to press charges for trespassing and Trester was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a State charge of trespassing first degree.

2:55 p.m.: Cody Jay Hicks, 34, of the 700 block of North Grand Avenue, was arrested after an officer took a report of a theft that occurred in the 100 block of West Main Street. The victim's lawn mower was stolen from his business and recovered at a pawn shop. Contact was made and Hicks was arrested, transported to Pettis County Jail, booked and released pending State charges of stealing.

July 12

1:15 a.m.: Scott A. West, 50, of the 700 block of South State Fair Boulevard, was arrested after a vehicle stopped near West Fourth Street and South Warren Avenue for failing to signal and displaying expired plates. West was intoxicated and was booked at the Pettis County Jail pending release to a sober person on a State charge of DWI alcohol - persistent offender.

3:12 a.m.: Christopher Nicholas Steck, 34, of the 600 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested after he was stopped on a bicycle for a city ordinance violation. A consent search revealed items related to drug activity and Steck was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of drug possession.

Incidents

July 9

12:52 p.m.: An officer responded to the 600 block of North Missouri Avenue for a report of a theft. contact was made with a man reporting a set of bleachers was stolen from the property sometime in the past week.

July 10

10:14 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the police department regarding a theft. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information to generate a report. There are no known suspects.

1:50 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of South Winchester Drive in reference to a theft. They met the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

July 11

12:20 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of North Prospect Avenue regarding the theft of a motor vehicle. They spoke with the reporting party and are submitting charges for theft of a motor vehicle.

2:56 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Monroe Avenue regarding found property. They collected a large kitchen knife in the roadway and placed it into the property room.

7:47 p.m.: Officers responded to Menards, 4400 Wisconsin Av., for a theft report. The investigation is ongoing.
