Arrests

June 26

12:47 a.m.: Pedro Marcos, 25, of the 900 block of North Prospect Avenue was arrested after a vehicle check on a vehicle running and parked in the alley near West Seventh Street and South Moniteau Avenue. Marcos drove off and was followed and stopped. He was determined to be intoxicated with a revoked driver's license and was transported to the police department then the Pettis County Jail. A request for a charge of DWI - persistent offender was submitted.

12:26 p.m.: Jesse Ray Snow, 66, of the 900 block of Sixth Street was arrested after an officer responded to investigate a report of sexual abuse. The victim stated on two separate occasions someone that resides in the residence had touched her in a sexual manner against her will. Snow was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released pending formal charges of second-degree sexual abuse.

June 27

12:01 a.m.: Kyle Eugene Comfort, 56, of Green Ridge, was arrested after a traffic stop near South Mitchell Road and West 10th Street after being observed making a turn without a turn signal. Comfort was impaired by drugs and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked for driving while intoxicated-drugs-prior offender.

10:38 p.m.: Carl William Durstein, 50, of the 600 block of East 10th Street, was arrested after an impaired driver was reported eastbound on West Broadway Boulevard near South Grand Avenue. Officers observed he had no front plate and was stopped near South Kentucky and Broadway. Durstein was impaired by alcohol and drugs and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked for driving while intoxicated.

 June 28

7:37 p.m.: Angie Marie Steeves, 43, of the 1200 block of South Grand Avenue was arrested after officers responded for domestic disturbance. Two subjects that have been involved and Steeves was determined to be the primary physical aggressor. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked for 24 hours pending charges of third-degree domestic assault.

7:59 p.m.: An officer responded to the 400 block of West Sixth Street for a theft report. They spoke with the victim who said a package was stolen from his front porch earlier in the day. No suspects were identified.

June 29

1:50 a.m.: Melissa L. Miller, 27, of the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue was arrested after an officer responded to a disturbance where a gun was fired. The subjects were separated and no one was found to be injured. Miller was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held for 24 hours pending charges of first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.

7:15 a.m.: Yevgenly Ivanovich Sonnik, 36, of the 1900 block of South Brown Avenue was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle not displaying registration at the intersection of East 16th Street and South Washington Avenue. The driver had a suspended driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a charge of DWS.

10:12 p.m.: Amy Rachelle Naylor, 41, of the 2100 block of South Washington Avenue was arrested after an officer responded to a subject trespassing at the residence. Naylor was found to be intoxicated and after refusing to leave she was transported to the Pettis County Jail for protective custody.

10:48 p.m.: Wilfredo Alejo Ubaldo, 28, of the 100 block of South Grand Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop for running a red light near South Grand Avenue near Wilkerson Street. He was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a charge of DWI - alcohol.

June 30

2:06 a.m.: Hawk Frederick R. Hagston, 20, of Cole Camp was arrested after being stopped for running a stop sign near South Ohio Avenue and East 13th Street. Hagston attempted to flee and struck a tree near South Osage Avenue and West Seventh Street. Drug paraphernalia was located in his pocket and he had an outstanding Pettis County warrant. Hagston was transported to Bothwell. Charges of DWI, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance and resisting arrest have been submitted to the prosecutor.

Incidents

June 27

8:21 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 600 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a past burglary. Information was gathered for a report.

9:57 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Stewart Avenue in reference to drugs found on the property. Officers collected the drugs, which tested positive for methamphetamine. One gram of methamphetamine and four needles were entered into evidence to be destroyed.

10:07 a.m.: A woman came into the SPD lobby to report a potential scam.

7:56 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard regarding harassment. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a documentation report.

8:46 p.m.: Officers conducted a warrant check in the 200 block of West 10th Street. While performing the check, a male subject hindered prosecution of the subject with warrants. Charges are being requested on the man for hindering prosecution.

June 28

11:43 a.m.: Officers spoke with the subject in the lobby of the police department regarding a check being forged.

Noon: A license plate found in the 300 block of North Iron Avenue was turned in to the police department.

5:53 p.m.: Officers took a theft report in the Sedalia Police Department lobby from the 400 block of West Broadway Boulevard and collected information for a report.

June 29

7:49 p.m.: An officer responded to a subject in the lobby of the police department regarding the violation of an ex-parte order in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The victim reported the respondent in the protection order had violated the order by sending messages and coming to their workplace. A warrant application was submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor against the subject.

8:41 p.m.: Officers responded to the Sedalia Police Department in reference to found property. They spoke with the reporting party who stated she located a set of keys near West Third Street and South Warren Avenue. The keys were collected.

9:58 p.m.: A witness came to the police department lobby to report property damage at Calvary Episcopal Church, 713 S. Ohio Ave. They checked the building and found evidence of property damage. They were able to contact the victim and a report was completed.

June 30

12:39 p.m.: An officer took a report of forgery at Duke Manufacturing, 601 Duke Dr. The reporting party said their signature was forged on a document by an employee at Duke. A report was completed and there are no suspects at this time.

July 1

12:18 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1300 block of East 13th Street regarding a stolen vehicle. The reporting party said overnight someone stole his motorcycle. No suspects were identified.

1:29 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a 911 call from the 1000 block of East 13th Street where a subject reported they needed help. The address provided didn't exist and it was determined to be a prank. A report was completed to document the incident.

June 29

3:34 p.m.: Kariesha R. Johnson, 37, of Kansas City, was arrested in Saline County for a felony Johnson County, Kansas, warrant, no insurance, a window tint violation, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. She was transported to the Saline County Jail.

10:05 p.m.: Matthew A. Rohr, 41, of Smithton, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.

June 30

3:14 a.m.: Kristopher E. Sensenig, 22, of Bunston, was arrested in Morgan County for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and DWI. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail.
