Arrests

July 23

3:37 p.m.: Christopher D. McKenzie, 41, of the 1300 block of South Carr Ave. was arrested after a vehicle stop near West Ninth St. and South Carr Ave. His driving status was revoked and he was transported to the Pettis County Jail. An inventory prior to the tow resulted in additional charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Incidents

July 22

4:43 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Country Club Blvd. The victim said their vehicle was stolen overnight.

July 23

9:27 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of South Marvin Ave. in reference to a theft report. The victim said their pistol was stolen from their vehicle overnight. The pistol was entered into the system as stolen.

12:14 p.m.: Officers took a report of thefts in the 500 block of West Fifth St. The reporting party stated someone broke into their truck July 24 and July 25 and stole two sets of earbuds.

7:33 p.m.: An officer responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of South Montgomery Ave. It was determined the vehicle had not been stolen but was involved in a civil issue. A report was completed to document the incident.

9:05 p.m.: Officers responded to Hubbard Park, 601 North Missouri Ave. in reference to harassment. The complainant stated a subject said he was going to cause harm through deadly force. The suspect has been identified and State charges are being requested.

9:29 p.m.: Officers responded to the 3200 block of West Broadway Blvd. for a report of stalking. They conducted an investigation on scene and gathered necessary information for a report and to submit formal charges on the suspect.

Incidents

July 22

11:00 a.m.: A dealer’s license plate was reported lost or stolen from 36000 block of Hwy 65.

July 23

9:31 p.m.: Deputies responded to the 2900 block of McVey Road in Pettis County for an assault no longer in progress. A suspect was identified and located. Both parties were provided statement forms to provide their side of the story. Charges are being submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office.
