Oct. 4

11:45 a.m.: Walter Vernon Baker, 54, of the 500 block of West Seventh Street was arrested after officers were dispatched to a reported collision at the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and South Grand Avenue. Officers identified Baker at the scene and conducted a DWI investigation that determined he was driving while intoxicated. Baker was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI - persistent offender, driving while suspended and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Oct. 5

101 a.m.: Hermelindo AK-Tek 44, of the 600 block of East 11th Street was arrested after officers responded to a disturbance. The victim reported being assaulted and locked out of the house by the suspect. The victim had injuries to his head and face from being hit in the face. The suspect was later contacted and resisted officers. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending filing state charges of third-degree domestic assault and felony resisting arrest.

Oct. 6

2:20 p.m.: Gonzalo L. Medina, 38, of the 400 block of Wilkerson Street was arrested after officers responded to the 2700 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a motor vehicle collision. Medina had a revoked driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released for driving while revoked and no proof of insurance.

7:52 p.m.: Francisco Martinez Moreno, 29, of the 600 block of North Stewart Ave. Was arrested after an officer was dispatched to South Grand Avenue and Wilkerson Street in reference to a hit and run accident. The intoxicated suspect was located and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour old pending charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and DWI - alcohol.

Oct. 1

5:07 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the lobby of the police department in reference to a theft report. The reporting party said an individual they had power attorney over in the 1500 block of South Harrison Avenue was a victim of theft.

Oct. 4

9:59 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the Liberty Park Apartments for a reported hit-and-run collision that occurred at the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Limit Avenue. A report was generated in reference to the incident.

2:37 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the police department for the report of a domestic assault that occurred in the 900 block of South Ohio Avenue. A report was generated.

Oct. 5

4:07 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a hit-and-run accident in the 600 block of East 24th Street.

10:57 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1400 block of South Ohio Avenue in reference to property damage. A rear windshield was shattered. Contact was made with the owner and a report was completed.

Oct. 6

12:08 a.m.: Officers responded to the 24000 block of Oak Grove Lane in reference to a sexual assault. Information was gathered for a report and an investigation is ongoing.

9:21 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Seventh Street in reference to found bicycles. The reporting party found two bicycles abandoned on his front lawn which were transported to the police department to be stored in evidence.

Arrests

Oct. 5

1:35 a.m.: Abraham Quetzecua Marcos was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop at 17th Street and Lamine Avenue on a vehicle with no front plate that ran a stop sign. The driver provided the name and birth date of another individual. A fingerprint scanner was used to reveal the driver to be Marcos, who had several warrants for his arrest and no valid license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of identity theft and operating motor vehicle without a valid license

Oct. 6

809 p.m.: Maria Hernandez was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop at Fifth Street and Osage Avenue on a vehicle with no lights on and expired registration. Hernandez was given a summons for driving while revoked second-offense and released.

Oct. 3

7:55 p.m.: A resident in the 100 block of South Chestnut Road in La Monte reported both license plates stolen from her truck.

Arrests

Oct. 4

10:21 p.m.: Cortez L. Patterson, 41, of Kansas City was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated, speeding, and failure to maintain a single lane. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and placed on a 12-hour hold.

11:13 p.m.: Zachary T. Pulliam, 25, of Sedalia was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.

Oct. 5

1:45 p.m.: Keith A. Bailey, 39, of Deepwater was arrested in Henry County for a felony Benton County warrant, a misdemeanor Pettis County warrant, failure to secure load and operating without a valid drivers license. He was transported to the Henry County Detention Center.

6:05 p.m.: Kevin A. Fleming, 35, of Marshall was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated, no valid driver's license, a lane violation and no seat belt. He was transported to the Marshall Police Department and released.
