This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

June 18

9:31 p.m.: Ashlyn Emalei Krug, 18, of the 1200 block of Sixth Street, was issued a summons after officers were dispatched to a nuisance call. They met the caller, who complained of the odor of marijuana from the upstairs neighbor's apartment. Officers issued Krug a citation for residential consumption of marijuana.

Incidents

June 16

6:38 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of East Chestnut Street in reference to two dogs killing a cat.

June 17

12:23 p.m.: A woman came into the SPD lobby to report someone vandalized her vehicle in the 900 block of Westwood Avenue.

3:51 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to meet the reporting party in the 100 block of West Main Street regarding harassment through text message.

June 18

6:53 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a reported theft in the 1800 block of South Osage Avenue. They met with the reporting party and gathered information for a report. There are no known suspects at this time.

10:50 a.m.: A woman came into the SPD lobby to report a tail light was stolen off her vehicle in the 300 block of McAnally Court.

Arrests

June 14

5:53 p.m.: Johnny J. Brown, 42, of Fulton, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance, driving with a revoked license, trafficking a controlled substance, littering, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

June 17

8:50 p.m.: Sergei S. Gladush, 45, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 12-hour hold.
