This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
4:07 p.m.: Keri M. Thomas, 51, of the 900 block of West Sixth Street, was arrested after officers conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of West Broadway and South Quincy Avenue. Thomas was arrested for driving with a revoked license.
9:48 p.m.: Blake R. Clapham, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on a revoked driver's license after officers responded to a disturbance. Clapham drove off and, when confronted by police, ran on foot. He was captured, was not cooperative and made unnecessary and unwarranted contact with three officers. He was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of misdemeanor DWI, driving with a revoked license, resisting arrest, two counts of third-degree assault, and fourth-degree assault.
4:47 a.m.: Jordan Thomas White Sr., 33, of the 1600 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested for driving while intoxicated-drugs after a vehicle stop for defective equipment in the 1300 block of South Sneed Avenue. Watt exhibited several indicators consistent with drug impairment and was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.
10:50 a.m.: Josephine Cordelia Merrick, 21, of the 400 block of North Grand Avenue, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The driver had a revoked driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
5:28 p.m.: Miguel Angel Torres, 20, of Neosho, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop near West Third Street and South Limit Avenue. He was issued two municipal violations.
11:13 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a verbal disturbance. They gathered information and a report was created.
11:40 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of West Seventh Street for a burglary report.
12:36 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Kay Avenue for a report of a stolen pallet of concrete bricks. They gathered information and video from neighbors and a report was completed.
9:33 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Ninth Street for a burglary report.
9:22 p.m.: Officers responded to the 2800 block of Westlake Drive for an assist agency call with a subject actively resisting arrest with deputies.
9:41 p.m.: Jeffrey T. White, 55, of Kansas City, was arrested in Morgan County for boating while intoxicated. He was released on summons.
2:07 a.m.: Jeremy C. Brant, 24, of Lee's Summit, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released
11:12 a.m.: John M. Brandkamp, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested in Benton County for resisting/interfering with arrest and failure to yield right of way. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and placed on a 12-hour hold.
5:04 p.m.: Sabrah N. Charles, 32, of Lexington, was arrested in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated-drugs with a person less than 17 in the vehicle and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash. She was transported to the Morgan County Jail and released.
6:48 p.m.: Thomas R. Ward, 61, of Windsor, was arrested in Henry County for felony driving while intoxicated, no insurance, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was transported to the Henry County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
1:20 p.m.: Cynthia J. Biggs, 37, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident - felony. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
5:08 p.m.: Forrest D. Schlons, 49, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County for felony driving with a revoked/suspended license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
6:37 p.m.: Cristian-Efrain Sandoval, 29, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Saline County jail and released.
