This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
3:15 p.m.: Officers spoke with a man regarding harassment in the 1800 block of East Fifth Street. A report was completed.
8:28 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Dal Whi Mo Court to investigate a reported theft. The officer met with the victim and suspect and determined the suspect had made threatening comments. Charges for harassment have been submitted for the suspect.
10:55 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a report of property damage in the 1400 block of South Missouri Avenue. They talked with the victim and identified the roots of a destroyed plant. The incident was documented in a report.
3:12 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a theft report. They were able to gather information about the thief and his associates in the store. A suspect has been observed stealing chicken wings from the business on more than one occasion. The investigation is ongoing.
