Jeffrey C. Rhodes, 34, of Sedalia suffered moderate injuries and William A. Johnson, 51, of Sedalia suffered serious injuries at 11:28 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Rhodes was driving a 2019 Ford F250 north on Highway 127 at Highway Y when he lost control of the vehicle, ran off the side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Upon impact the trailer separated and struck the back and top of the Ford.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Rhodes was transported by Pettis County ambulance District to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg, Johnson was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
