Michael D. Smelser, 37, of Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Smelser was driving a 2021 Dodge Durango north on Missouri Highway 13 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, returned to the roadway, traveled off the right side of the roadway again and overturned several times.
Smelser was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg.
Vincente Rodriguez Cabrera, 19, of La Monte suffered moderate injuries at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cabrera was driving a 2016 Nissan east on MO-Y, failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. He hit a ditch and overturned multiple times.
Cabrera was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by personal conveyance for medical attention.
