2:10 p.m. Gary Eugene Nickerson, 75 of the 27000 block of Lamms Lane was issued a citation for shoplifting at 3201 W. Broadway Blvd. Officers responded to the business in reference to a theft. Nickerson had left the store without paying for approximately $168 worth of merchandise. He was located in the parking lot, issued a citation for stealing and released at the scene.
6:06 p.m. Donnie Dean Wiser, 19, of Warsaw was arrested after a vehicle stop was conducted at South Limit and South Limit Court for a registration violation . The driver was found to have a currently revoked license. Wiser was arrested without incident. After processing at the Sedalia Police Department, he was released with a citation pending a court date.
12:20 a.m. Allie E. Hayes, 20, of the 1300 Block of South Sneed Avenue and Bryce Martin, 19 of Stover were cited after a traffic stop was conducted in a parking lot in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The occupants of the vehicle were found to be minors in possession of alcohol. Hayes and Martin were cited with Minor in Possession/Purchasing Intoxicants. Martin was also given a citation for vehicle to be driven carefully.
2 a.m. Stephanie Flick, of the 1000 Block of West Seventh Street was arrested after a vehicle stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South Quincy Avenue for failing to maintain its lane, speeding and failing to stop prior to a stop line at a red signal light. Flick was determined to be intoxicated. She was processed and released on municipal charge of DWI.
9:10 a.m. Officers were dispatched to 4400 Wisconsin Ave. for a found wallet. The owner was identified via their Missouri Drivers License, but the owner was unable to be contacted. The wallet was logged and entered into property for safekeeping at the police department for the owner to claim.
9:04 p.m. Officers responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a report of an animal bite. Information was gathered and a report was made.
